Yes, I am a member of the PVG scheme with Disclosure Scotland.

Is there a commitment period for the online group sessions?

Packages include 4 lessons. You will automatically be offered a space for the next 4, however you are under no obligation to continue.

What if my child can’t keep up with the pace of the lessons?

Everyone learns at their own pace. The online group lessons are all recorded so you or your child can revisit these lessons at any time. This ensures that they can absorb the content fully and at their own pace.

How much does it cost?

Online group lessons cost £16 per hour and lessons are invoiced in blocks of 4 before the lessons commence.

One to one lessons cost £30 per hour. There is normally a waiting list for one to one lessons.

Which subjects do you offer?

For online group sessions, I offer National 5 Maths, National 5 Applications of Maths and Higher Maths. I offer any level of Maths for one to one tuition.

How do I book a lesson and make payment?

For online lessons you can book through the booking link on the website. You will be redirected to the online platform MeritHub where you will be able to book a package of 4 classes. You will need to create an account with MeritHub and then payment will be taken via Stripe, the secure online payment platform. Once payment has been received your child will receive a secure link to join the lesson. For one to one availability and classes please get in touch via email or the online enquiry form.

Are the maths lessons recorded?

Yes, the maths lessons are recorded and you can watch them back at any time.

For online lessons do I need to keep my camera on?

This is entirely up to you. It helps me to understand how engaged a student is if their camera is on and this enables me to build a good relationship.

Can I sit in on the lesson with my child?

Yes, sometimes students are more engaged if a parent or guardian takes an active interest. However, sometimes students work better without a parent or guardian. It is entirely up to you.
